Webi'm genuinely trying to understand why people dislike ron.

Personally i don't care, rupert.

Some people hate that relationship which is fine.

No character is perfect.

But some people hate ron.

Ron ended up with hermione.

Webmany dislike seem to come from movie ron because hermione stole many good lines from him and they see him just as the funny friend.

But some people hate ron.

But probably because he tends to be sarcastic sometimes, and people hate him for leaving harry and hermione in the last book.

Webi don't hate ron, but you are deluding yourself if you think he doesn't have a lot of bad qualities, or that it is unreasonable for people to hate the character.
