As of 2023 there is a new student evaluation form.

This form is called the student evaluation of teaching (set).

The form replaced capes for undergraduate courses, and the graduate.

Ucsd recently switched to a new system for evaluations, sets, which has a new set of questions better tailored for evaluating instructors rather than aiding future students.

I am currently the undergraduate representative on the holistic teaching oversight committee, a committee of professors responsible for deploying, implementing, and changing the sets.

Accordingly, we are implementing the process below to address spring 2020 course and professor evaluations.

The overarching goal for holistic teaching evaluation is to develop a holistic, transparent, and flexible evaluation process, and to provide the tools and support needed for faculty and cap.
