Webdec 10, 2011 · the kickdown cable is the cable that is connected to the throttle bracket next to where the throttle linkage connects to the bracket, and runs down to the tranny.

Remove the cable end stop, kickdown throttle body fitting, and kickdown cable adjuster from the end of the inner wire.
